The rules that stop most scams
- Never trade outside the in-game trade window.
- Never send an item first and wait for the return.
- Never use a middleman — the trade window already protects both sides.
- Never enter your Roblox login anywhere except roblox.com.
- Re-read both sides of the trade window in the second before you accept.
Six scams and how they work
1. The last-second swap
Items are changed after you have mentally agreed. Defeat it by reading the window fresh each time either side edits it.
2. The fake middleman
A "trusted" third party offers to hold both items. They keep them. There is no legitimate reason for a middleman in Blox Fruits.
3. Trust trading
"Send yours first and I'll send mine." Nothing comes back. Always trade simultaneously through the window.
4. Phishing links
Free-fruit generators, fake value sites and login pages harvest accounts. PLZ FRUIT chat only permits Roblox private server links for this reason.
5. Impersonation
Someone copies a known trader's display name with a slightly different username. Check the exact username, not the display name.
6. Value bluffing
"Trust me, that's fair." Verify every item yourself on the value list and confirm with the trade calculator.
Reporting a scammer
Report the account in Roblox first. If the deal was arranged here, use the report option on the offending chat message — PLZ FRUIT retains closed trade chats for a short review window so staff can investigate the full conversation, even if it was deleted.
Frequently asked questions
What is the most common Blox Fruits scam?
The last-second swap. A trader agrees to one item, then replaces it with a cheaper one right before you accept. Always re-read both sides of the trade window immediately before confirming.
Should I ever use a middleman?
No. Trading in Blox Fruits happens in a secure in-game trade window, so a middleman is never needed. Anyone insisting on one is almost always attempting a scam.
Are Blox Fruits value or free-fruit websites safe?
Never enter your Roblox password anywhere except roblox.com, and never install a program that promises free fruits. No legitimate site or tool needs your account credentials.
What do I do if I get scammed?
Report the player in Roblox, and if the trade was arranged on PLZ FRUIT, report the chat message so staff can review the conversation and act on the account.
