Using it in three steps
- Add what you are giving. Every item counts — small physicals change the verdict more often than people expect.
- Add what you are receiving. Match permanents to permanents and physicals to physicals.
- Read the verdict. The result shows both the direction and the size of the gap.
Reading the verdict
- Win — you receive more value than you give. Check demand before celebrating; a win in slow items is not always a win.
- Fair — both sides are within a few percent. Safe to accept if you want the item.
- Loss — you give more than you receive. Acceptable only as deliberate overpay for something rare you actually want.
